ASOBAGRI, the producer of Cafe De Mujer, bridges the gap between the local community and the international coffee market. This cooperative is renowned for its efficiency and organization, with 1,400 members cultivating and harvesting their own coffee on small, independent farms with their own micro-mills. Promoting gender equality is a major success, with ASOBAGRI employing 5 women technicians who provide tailored training and support to the 182 female members. Innovative strategies, such as using coffee pulp to create organic fertilizers, not only reduce costs but also ensure better yields and quality.
