Ethiopian Yirgacheffe are widely regarded as some of the finest Arabica coffees, and receive top ratings from experts. Their premium quality and reputation make them more expensive than other specialty coffees, yet they offer great value for money in comparison to Hawaiian Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain. High elevation terroir, with slower growth and higher nutritional uptake, gives Yirgacheffe its characteristic sweetness and unique flavor. Expect bright acidity, intense clean taste, and floral notes like lavender and lemongrass , with a subtle toasted coconut aroma.
